There comes a time in every girls life where she faces a certain fashion fork in the road. Some decide to take the nicely paved path towards the world of comfort clothing and normalcy, while others take the road less traveled and make their way through life one statement necklace at a time. The following bloggers dedicate their time, talent, and well spent paychecks to help inspire and educate the rest of us on how to take an outfit to the next level. Listen, learn and enjoy!

1. Double Green by Sincerely, Jules
When it comes to editing outfits, Julie Sarinana is an absolute pro. Her accessories are always on point and constantly inspire me to try out colors and styles I may not have otherwise. This outfit is also a perfect example of spending money on the right designer pieces and leaving the rest up to the mall stores. She keeps it simple with a Gap sweater, BCBG heels and a stunning F21 necklace (which I almost couldn’t believe), and then turns up the dial with a Costume National skirt and a vintage Gucci bag. Travail bien fait Jules!

When it comes to DIY clothing, I’ll admit I’m not always the biggest fan. But leave it to a certain fabulous black feathered skirt to change my mind! Tara could have chosen a simple black skirt to complete this outfit. Instead she choose the road less traveled which lead her to this absolutely amazing DIY piece. One other thing I’d like to point out about this outfit is the major use of necklaces… Vintage, Stella & Dot and J.Crew, in this case the more is definitely the merrier!

You know what they say ladies, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Jessica, the founder of What I Wore, saw something in this Lopapeysa sweater and took it from grandmothers yearly Christmas present to an absolute fashion must have. I love the way she paired it with the hot pink accessories and nicely tailored jacket and skirt which again, I never would have thought to do. So next time you need inspiration on contrasting patterns or textures, you know where to look!
That’s it for today fashionistas. I hope you are as inspired as I am after reading about all these amazing bloggers and their unique approaches to all things style. Until next time!
XOXO Mallory
